My vision
Yoga is, above all, a way of life—a path to presence, balance, and deep self-connection. Through each inhalation and exhalation, we learn to listen to our breath, anchoring ourselves in the present moment. My approach to yoga is rooted in self-acceptance, honoring the body as it is—flexible or not—without striving for competition, either with ourselves or others.
In my classes, I create a sensory journey that goes beyond movement. The sacred aromas of copal and incense cleanse the space, while the vibrations of Tibetan bowls and bells help deepen focus, inviting a meditative state. Through this holistic experience, yoga becomes more than just a practice—it becomes a ritual of self-care, mindfulness, and connection with nature.

Experience grounding yoga and deep relaxation in Puerto Escondido. I offer 6 weekly classes with sound healing at Marea Yoga Studio and another peaceful space in town with Shred—perfect for releasing tension and restoring balance.
This March, join me for a heart-opening cacao ceremony and a powerful full moon gathering, where we’ll connect with ourselves, set intentions, and share community.

My style of yoga

Vinyasa yoga.
It is a flow of movements & breath to find balance in the mind & body. It is opposed to Hatha yoga where the focus is more on one pose at a time with rest in between the two. The flow can be fixed but most of the time vinyasa teacher create & arrange their own sequence.
I like to use specific theme on my classes, like focusing on a chakra, sharing any inspirational quotes to bring a gentle touch of spirituality and awaking the curiosity of my students on different topics. -
Meditation.
“It is a practice in which an individual uses a technique – such as mindfulness, or focusing the mind on a particular object, thought, or activity – to train attention and awareness, and achieve a mentally clear, emotionally calm and stable state”. It has been used for centuries in different civilizations, and it is an important part of the yoga lifestyle. By doing meditation regularly, we can reconnect to our breath & let go all the disturbances from the external world. It does not matter how long you stay in meditation as there is nothing to expect, nothing to achieve apart being aware of the present moment. I like to start all my classes with a time of meditation.

Yin yoga.
It is a cooling and slow-paced style of asana practice. It involves mainly floor-based poses that are typically held for longer periods than other type of yoga.
The goal is to access deep connective tissues and to also connect with a more meditative state that allows the body to relax and go deeper on the stretch of the muscle.
The intention is to soften and let go into the shapes.
Yin yoga combined with sound healing allows you to come to a deeper relaxation, to reduce pain and stress. It also improves your concentration. -
Pranayama
Also called Breath exercises, it is an ancient breath technique based on controlling your breath in different styles and lengths. It allows clearing the physical and emotional obstacles inside us, usually creating a heat or allowing the mind to calm, bringing oxygens, and recharging your whole body.
It has been proven that regularly doing breath exercises brings long-lasting benefits on the body. As it is also part of the yoga lifestyle, you will also discover some specific breath exercises in all of my classes.
